What is the best vertical distance between the chandelier and the table?

Generally, when the home chandelier is installed above the table, the vertical distance between the chandelier and the table should not be less than 0.5 meters. The distance between the chandelier and the table is generally between 1.5 meters and 1.8 meters, which is the most suitable distance.

The vertical distance between the chandelier and the ground is generally about 2.5~2.8 meters. The size of the chandelier can be selected according to the actual situation in the room.

Notes on installation of chandeliers：

1. If the weight of lamps and lanterns such as ordinary hanging wires is less than 1 kg, they can be directly hoisted with flexible wires. If they are more than 1 kg, they need to be hoisted by suspending chains.

2. When using a cord chandelier, make a knot in the hanging box and the lamp holder. When using steel pipe as the hanger of the lamp, the inner diameter of the steel pipe is generally not less than 10 mm. Where the weight of lamps exceeds 3 kg, the connection with the ceiling must be through embedded hooks or bolts. For fixed hooks, the diameter of the round steel shall not be less than 6 mm.

3. When using a special winch to suspend and fix a large chandelier, it should be done: the ratchet of the winch must have a locking device; the tensile strength of the wire rope of the winch should not be less than 10 times the weight of the lantern. Lamp installation must be protected against electric shock. When the metal shell of the luminaire must be grounded, it should be connected to the grounding grid by grounding bolts.

4. When the lamp adopts a screw cap, the phase wire should be connected to the top center of the lamp cap, and the neutral wire should be connected to the screw. Garden lights should be fitted with fuses. The installation of lamps must be flameproof. When all kinds of lamps are installed in flammable structures or in wooden ceilings, fire prevention or heat insulation treatment should be carried out around the lamps.

Tungsten halogen lamps cannot be ceiling mounted on wood or other flammable materials. The installation of lamps and lanterns should match its own lines with the interior architectural lines. The side of the rectangular luminaire should be parallel to the decoration line of the ceiling.

When the lamps are installed symmetrically, their vertical and horizontal central axes should be on the same straight line. A switch-on light fixture with a combination of multiple fluorescent lamps. The lamps should be arranged neatly.

5. The method of direct exit and casing can be used for the surface of the hanger to call the shed. The method of adding a meeting pipe is conducive to installation, which can ensure the integrity of the ceiling panel, and only drill holes at the position where the pipe needs to be exited.

The hanging cups of the pan shed are directly called, and the drilling holes on the board surface are not easy to align during installation. Sometimes it is possible to install the boom first and then cut off the panel to dig holes for installation, but it will affect the decorative effect.

6. The boom and sling are directly nailed or screwed on the secondary joist, or connected to the standing rung grid by the above-mentioned method of perforating the board surface. Or hang it on the additional cross joists between the secondary picking grids. The power of the light source used in the ceiling lamp: incandescent bulbs are 40-100W, and fluorescent lamps are mostly 30-40W.

7. If there are multiple chandeliers during installation, you should pay attention to their position and length. The chandeliers can be installed at the same time as the ceiling is installed, so that the position and height of the lamps can be adjusted based on the ceiling joists.
