How to connect Christmas lights flashing string lights

If you want to connect multiple lights together, you first need to prepare a high-power switching power supply as the total power supply. 

The total power must be greater than the sum of the power of each lamp, and then input all LED light strings into the total power supply. Connect all lights in series.

 After the main power supply is ready, the main switch can be disconnected, so as to avoid the risk of electric shock caused by current in the wires when the light is connected. 

Then distinguish the wires according to the color, connect the different wires to the corresponding interface, and wrap them with insulating tape after fixing, so that they cannot fall off.

 Finally, open the main switch and start the switch to see if the light is on. How to connect two strings of lanterns together? There are two ways to connect two strings of lanterns: series and

 parallel. Series connection is the most common and convenient way, just connect the wires of the two strings of lights together, and then connect the power cord. 

If there are multiple wires in the lantern, you need to connect the wires of the same color together according to the color. Moreover, most of the lanterns on the market now have tail connections, which can be directly connected in series. In parallel connection, the wires of the two strings of colored lights need to be connected to the plug.

 It is worth noting that if you choose to connect in series, then when one of the strings of colored lights is broken, the entire circuit will be broken, and the two strings of colored lights will not emit light. If you choose to connect in parallel, the two strings of colored lights are independent. After one string has a circuit problem, the other string can still light up normally.
