According to the interpretation of industry insiders, from high yield to high efficiency, revitalizing agriculture through science and technology is the only way for modern agriculture. In addition to informatization, modern equipment and modern breeding technology that may be involved in the 13th five year plan are the direction of key support in the future.

According to CSA survey data, the total export volume of China's plant lighting lamps in Q1 of 2015 was US $7.13 million, which was basically the same as that in Q1 of 2014. Among them, the export of traditional plant lighting lamps was US $3.76 million, a year-on-year increase of - 11%, and the export of LED plant lighting lamps was US $3.37 million, a year-on-year increase of 16.6%. From 2011 to 2014, the total export of plant lighting lamps has been rising. The total export in 2014 was US $2.41 million, an increase of 58% over the same period in 2013, about three times that in 2012.

According to the analysis of CSA research, the export volume of traditional plant lighting from 2011 to 2012 was mainly traditional plant lighting. After 2013, the traditional plant lighting market shrank, the LED plant lighting export market broke out in an all-round way, and the growth rate and export volume increased rapidly. In 2011 and 2012, the export volume of traditional plant lighting accounted for nearly 70% of the export volume of plant lighting lamps, and the export volume growth rate of traditional plant lighting lamps reached 251% in 2012. Since 2013, the proportion of LED plant lighting in total exports has increased, from 25% in 2012 to 41%, and the growth rate has also reached a historical 235%. In contrast, the growth rate of traditional plant lighting has been declining since 2013, and the growth rate of Q1 in 2015 has begun to be negative.

It is understood that since 2013, the output value of LED applications in the field of global plant lighting has begun to show a high-speed growth trend. In the next few years, with the improvement of the penetration of global LED applications in agricultural lighting, the Chinese market is also slowly rising, and the future market prospect is broad.
