Tips for installing LED Light Strip

Different types of light strips have different installation methods. The common installation methods of conventional light strips are sticker type. When installed in the groove, you can choose the slot installation, and there are also snap-type installations.

The specific operation steps are as follows:

1. The required length of the light strip should be well in advance, and it should be rounded off. If it is 4.4 meters, it must be 5 meters, because the light strip is a unit of 1m. Only if it is cut off from the notch, it will not affect the circuit. If it is arbitrarily cut, it will cause a unit not to light up.

2. The plug of the light strip interface cannot be reversed. The light strip is not an LED diode and is driven by DC, so there are positive and negative poles. If the positive and negative poles are reversed, the light strip will not light up. If the connection plug does not turn on, just disconnect the other end of the light strip.

3. Correctly place the light strips. Most of the light strips are in the original packaging of the coils. The newly disassembled light strips will be twisted and difficult to install. Since the light strip is single-sided, if it is not placed flat, there will be uneven light and shade, especially at the corners.

4. Pay attention to the installation environment. Most of the light strips are installed in the grooves around the ceiling. The dust in the grooves must be cleaned up, because the dust can easily cause fire accidents when heated.
