 How is the SMD LED structure designed?

The SMD LED is rectangular and consists of three units. These batteries contain a light-emitting element (semiconductor crystal) that generates light when current flows through it.　

To protect the SMD battery, resin is used to completely cover the upper part. These resins for SMD are available in a variety of colors and shades.
Depending on the number of batteries in the SMD LED, it will have a certain number of contacts for soldering. For monochromatic LEDs, one of them will always be the anode (+) and the other will be the cathode (-). In the case of SMD RGB LEDs, usually each light-emitting element has a cathode contact and an anode. Depending on the manufacturer and LED specifications, the configuration and number of connection points may vary.

How is the size of the SMD LED named?　
   According to the size, LED types are classified by 4 digits: the first 2 digits indicate the length, and the last 2 digits indicate the height of the LED (in tenths of a millimeter). For example, 5050 LED is 5x5mm. The following table shows the most commonly used SMD LED types:
